One of the Finest Hanoverian Coins . . .
Quarter-Guineas were only struck in 1718 and 1762, with an obverse inscription declaring George to be the 'Prince-Elector of the Holy Roman Emperor'.
The reverse design includes Hanoverian arms along with the crowned and shielded arms of England, Scotland, France and Wales.
