Henry VIII Half Sovereign (1547-1551) AU
This coin was struck during the reign of Edward VI but has the portrait of Henry VIII. This was due to it being issued shortly after the death of Henry VIII.
The obverse shows us Henry VIII kings portrait holding scepter seated on throne.
The reverse depicts a crowned shield with lion and dragon rearing on either sides.
The coin has some light scratches.
This coin is the only example graded by the NGC as AU.
